power commander question
whats up guys.. I've got a question about my power commander on my '06 636. does it set the rev limiter with the "high, mid, low" buttons? because when I get up to about 12k RPM's it feels like its hitting a rev limiter or going into nuetral because it will rev after i get that high? I havent tried it on the "high" setting in fear of that I have a problem lol so I can here first before I did this.. any help is appreciated!
-Mike
P.S. this is my first Kawasaki and I bought it used with a power commander already in it.. so sorry about the stupidity

Don't mess with those buttons unless you know what you are doing... Those buttons configure your air fuel ratio. If you did mess with them get that bike to a dyno and have them do you a map. And no the PCIII does not have a rev limiter adjustment on it. Your bike should red line at around 14600 rpm.

i dont know because i tested for that by putting it in a high gear at a low speed and oppened the throttle and it didnt slip.. i guess its just something telling me not to go all the way up to 14,000 hahaha

they should be a light golden brown color. it might be a fuel prob, being that it is doing it under load.
1st thing I would to is take the power comander off and see if the problem continues. if it doesnt i would download a new map, and try it again.

Sound like your clutch could be slipping but it usually does it at around 8000 rpm where the most torque starts to build-up. Try loading a map ff the Dynojet website first to rule out the PC111.
