i have a 90 zx600 my problem is in starting and running. It only start on full choke n only runs on half choke take it off any more than that it dies. carbs r cleans... adjusting idle screw doin nothing for me im lost ??? help please!!!!

 

It is an older ride. Check the boots for air leaks or some other air leakage if you are convinced that the carbs are totally clean and adjusted correctly. good luck on the fix and Welcome to KF.

 

Welcome to the forums, don't be too hard on the bike. Just like people as they age they need more help. LOL?

 

has it been sitting for a while? if its had bad gas in it it might just need to be blown out. Check all the rubber bits for cracking and corrosion, expecially the vacuum lines and like drag said the boots, and let it run for a while to clear out the system and let us know if it improves.
