Anybody riding the new dual compound Pilot Power 2CT??? I have about 3-4 weeks left on my Pilot Powers (which I like), and I'm thinkin about tryin em out. Anyone???

 

ive thought bout it but according to some knee draggers thats what there good for as is the regular pilot powers but if your in to hardcore riding slamming that knee down at high speeds then I say go for it!! but they are a lil pricey!!

 

Anyone know of a longer mileage tire than the battlax? I use my bike as a commuter and never drag my knee, so perforance is not a priority in terms of tires.

 

Between Pilot Powers and the Battleaxe, I got a LOT more mileage out of the battleaxe. Just like the way the Pilot Power feel like they wanna go into turns more.

 

Dunlop 208 may be better; I used to commute on both and others too. The 208 and the battlax were the best.

Is the dual compond softer on the sides than the PP right now and is the center harder?

 

That's the theory: at $269, the price is a little harder as well.

269 for both tiers is not that bad. You should price the Pilot race or Power race. Ouch.

Yeah, the Battlax's are $130 for the rear and $109 for the front. $239 for the set is not that much cheaper than those CT2s

 

I have been thinking of getting the 2CT's but if I dont I will probably just get the regular PP. I have yet to see man opinions on the 2CT's.

 

I have been using the PP"s for 1 front and 2 rears and I like them a lot. I will be watching for any reviews of the 2cts for sure.
