Default Ortega Highway, CA

Went on a ride with some co-workers this morning to Ortega Highway. It is in Lake Elsinor, CA. (I believe it is part of Cleavland National Forest).

We met up with the group, about 15 guys and headed to Chino, CA. to meet up with a few more guys.

From there we headed to Ortega Highway, off the I-15 freeway in Lake Elsinor. The road takes you into San Juan Capistrano I believe, Orange County.

We had a good time, It was the first time for me and ended up taking about 4 passes through the canyon.

A definite good ride if you are into that type of riding. (although I dont have much experience in windy/twisty road riding, I have only been to Turn Bowl in Whittier, CA otherwise.)

Let me know if you guys know of any other good areas in southern california.
