RE: OIL TYPES???
I run Series 2000 in my Ford Focus & change the oil/filter once a year & it runs like a champ. I ran it in my RR and never had a problem & it's been in my 636 since day 2 and still no problems. Ran it in my 03 Mach 1 also, for over 2 years & again, same result. It's also the only oil we use at my shop for all the cars we do, unless we use a non-synthetic.

mobil one synthetic for bikes in my 636 , and mobil 1 synthetic for cars in my cars. i always use stock oil filters. mobil 1 already proved its self. has anyone seen the new Q comercial. quakerstate , and ferrari uses it in there cars!!!! thats pretty crazy, that **** should cost a pretty penny. i know its like 5 grand for an oil change in a ferrari enzo, i know that **** is not no **** quaker state.

Not to rehash but some of the keys to good oil is it ability to not loose viscosity, sheer strength and protection at high temps.
Engine sound is not one of them.

The viscosity rating will affect engine noise. 5W30 will be much noisier that 20W50. Most bikes are 10W40 recommended oil but I guess you can run 20W50 in really hot climates.
