OIL SCREW SUPER TIGHT!!!
Hey guys, Back with another question for you pros!! I was planning to do my oil change this morning when I start having complications loosening the bottom screw that drains the oil... pretty much, ITS SUPER TIGHT!!!! I cant get it loose! I am turning it counter clockwise with the correct socket, the freaking screw wont move!! I am using all my strength and doubt that it should be this hard to loosen this sucker up...The last oil change was done by the stealership, so I dont know what went wrong!!! Any hints on how to loosen this screw please? HELP!!!

Make sure you use a 6 point 1/2 " drive socket and a ratchet or breaker bar so you have some leverage. It SHOULD not be that tight. Just make sure you are turning it the correct way, becausethe drain boltupside down. If you are on the RH side of the bike, you should be pulling the wrench from front to back. On the LH side (kickstand side) back to front. (Just making sure). If it's still very tight, take it back to the dealer; maybe they cross threaded it but if they did, it will usually leak. You can tap the bottom (head) of the drain plug with a hammer also and then try loosening it.

If you can't get it, take it to the dealer. You don't wanna strip the threads in the crank case.
