although your coolant is green i dont think it would make your oil turn green if they mixed.

In my experience when you have oil and coolant/water mixed you get milky white looking oil.

So as long as your oil doesn't look like a milkshake your good.

like 05zx6r said its an ongoing debate. everyone is going to like there own brand. as for me I use Royal Purple. amsoil is awesome, so is the Mobil mx4t. I hear of people running automotive oil in there bikes with no problems, but I like the motorcycle oil because it is designed for the wet clutches and it has an antifoaming agent in it.

Most premium oils of the same category (conventional, semi-synthetic, synthetic, or racing, ect) have the same API service ratings so as long as you change your oil frequently (when its due) they are all going to do basically the same job.

I would chose something that you can get on readily. Oh yeah spend the extra $$$ and get the K&N oil filter. The nut on the end makes is so much easer to get the filter off, and it’s the same size as the drain plug so you only need one socket. It least on my 636 it’s the same. The K&N will also holed more debris than a lot of the other filters out there.

It also comes pre drilled for safety wiring.
