Ninja 636 Battery issues
Hi guys, im new here. I have an 05 xz6r.
My battery seems dead, i am planning on changing this. I have this dude that can order the battery saving a few bucks, how can i order it??? What number or reference can be used to know the correct battery for this bike. This will really help me. I dont have the original manual for this bike.
Thanks.

usually, i use the amp-hour rating of the battery to gauge what a suitable replacement eould be. you can deviate from this range.. say it's 10 A-Hr.. you could go 9, but i'd rather go up.. like to a 12 A-Hr battery..
they're pretty much all the same however. someone on here can probably post a better answer with an actual number tho.. lol
welcome to KF!!!

Yuasa YTX9-BS is the brand and # for the stocker. I happen to have mine sitting in the garage still.
Mine went belly up after I accidently left the key on talking to a buddy in front of his house. Never did hold a charge again. Its not hard to get out if you have ever torn into your bike before though. I found the cheapest deal around here was the Honda Stealership in town. I was suprised that even Napa was more expensive.
