Default ninja 600r starting problems

how do i remove the starter? wheni turn the key to on, and try the electric start i can hear a faint buzzing noise coming from the junction box under the seat, the box is good and the fuses (tried it on another 600r) i don't hear the starter engaging nor is it getting power, the battery is good a full 12v runnin thru the batt, so it would have to be either the starter or a cable runnin to it right?
any ideas on how to diagnose as well as how to fix? im good with cars, new to the bike world so things are a little confusing... thanks

Starters rarely go bad, but I have seen it happen. more commonly its going to be a bad connection or a bad battery. Check all your connections and have your battery load tested. If the battery is bad it can hold 12v but not enough amps to turn the motor.

Good luck, and Welcome to KF!

check your relay. Weak connections and relays are prime suspects on most of the 90's and 2k rides. Not sure on what you have yet, but hit up your fiche. About $70
