I'm making my younger brother buy an 05-06 and not an 07 when he gets back from Afghanistan (army) It's gonna be great cause he said "I can do all the mods for him with his money when he heads back to Afghanistan."[sm=badidea.gif]

lol im still stuck between the years guys. so what im getting is the main difference is handling? but the 05-06s are more torquey (spelling?) straight out of the box? im not looking to track one, the 05-06s are still fairly nimble correct and will have no problems on the street?

I love my 636 on the street, and the twistes. with a good rider you can pull gsxr 750's from turn to turn and even in the straights.

well the 05-06 still are 636 cc engines and the 07 went back to 599 cc engines. those extra 37 cc make a difference... [8D]

+1 to stang I pull on my biddies R6's and 750's all the time with my 636... (in straight lines only no track time yet)

Just make sure you get the fastest color... BLUE[sm=wootwoot.gif]

either way you are going to be impressed with either one of the bikes. I wouldn't buy one because of one out performing the other, because the rider will make a big difference too. I would go sit on both take them both out for a ride if you can. and go with the one you feel more comfortable on. either bike will be an awesome bike. there is no wrong choice here.

I’m with OMALLY I don’t tach out my bike it just effing screams. Its a lot to hang on to. My bros F4I I was always hitting the rev limiter and still trying to reach for more, but not with my 636

636 all the way, i e en read somewhere that the 07 6r is 50 lbs heavier than the 636, dont know how that is possible, 636 is perfect for speed and twisites
