Default New Track in North Texas

I went and checked out a New track they're building about 40 minutes north-west of me. It's a 2.54 mile road course and really nice. Got to go around for a few laps to try it out and it was a lot of fun. It's a fast and also challenging track. It is still in the process of being completed and was being worked on when I rode on it. A couple of turns wer blocked off but I got to run half of the course. There was dirt & gravel on the track so I had to pick my lines carefully and exactly. Can't wait till it's done in June. Best part was that it was free this time. The owner is talking to the AMA, FIM, FIA and other Organizations about bringing racing to this track and they are all interested and contacted him. There will be a trackday in June that I signed up for so I hope it get accepted by the Texas Ducati club. My bike is RED! LOL.

Here's the track info if anyone's interested: www.eaglescanyon.com

That Porsche Cayman Swas 2 days old. There were other BMW's on the track too. But the 636 is faster even with dirt, gravel & sand in the turns! [8D]

Sounds good. Hopefully they have a Major Event here soon; AMA or WSBK. Maybe even MotoGP! It's such a nice track and so close, I might start racing again. Better than doing that on the streets.

Anytime; I'll keep you all posted. Skip Barber will be having a driving school here as well. Maybe we can schedule a kawasakiforums trackday at the racetrack?

2 Pictures posted. I wish someone took pictures of us in action. I got to try out my new AGV Forzaleathers I got from www.cyclemartusa.com . They worked and felt great; very comfortable and well ventilated and at an awesome price! $310 shipped!
