Default new paint and wheels

hey guys i bought a 01 zx6r a few weeks ago and it was repainted purple with the stock blue color wheels. I did not like purple and i didnt want a diff color bike with blue wheels so i had the bike painted black and i had the wheels powdercoated gold

I know it looks blue in the pics but in the light it is VERY VERY purple if it was not to purple i would have left it
thats a before
and these are after

Nice job. Did you paint it your self?

Lose the frt and rear turning signals, resets and get a rear seat cover. JMO

the bike came with the "carbon fiber look" front flush mount turns but htey look purple so im just going to get smoked ones. I am also looking for a D&D slip on and a fender eliminator kit with small rear turn signals. To tell you the truth i like the way the rear seat looks so im going to leave it. but it doesnt really matter whant i want to do because school is back in session so i dont have money for any of it anyway[:@]

Yea I understand about school. You can always mod it later.

Did you do the paint yourself and was it hard? I am considering doing one of mine but the more and more I look at it I want to find a paint shop.

I voted for remo's bike because I prefer the style.

You should put your mods in your sig so it it easier for all to see.

Yours is very nice though shon and remember every dog has his or her day.

My friend who works at a body shop painted it it was his first full job but he has been spraying and prepping for awhile so i helped him with wet sanding etc and it came out really really nice for a first job. I blasted the old blue powdercoat off myself and pressed out the bearings took apart the wheels completely etc then another one of my friends and i coated the wheels. I had to buy new tires anyway so i figured what better time to powdercoat right
