this forum is rad! i've learned quite a bit in less than an hour of reading.

Question: has anyone sucessfully put oem clip-ons above the triple clamp on an 05-06 zx-6r??

might as well put a pick of the bike up. no "mods" but i have lammed up some carbon fibre fairing extenders to cover the raw edge from where i yanked my lower cowling. also welded a set-up for dual ammo cans that mount into the passenger pegs.

nice bike but what happen to the bottom fairing ?

 

didn't like it, so it is in my garage (bike is in the living room) it was hiding all that beautiful stainless work! (exhaust)

i love those ammo cans man now that is some custom i am goign to have to do something like that!!!!! welcome and ride safe, i know you will like it better here than anywhere else out there!!

 

i can get you specs for them... just don't have them on hand. they mount through the passenger rearset bracket holes. 4 bolts for the whole thing. it was a nighmare to line out, cause the wholes are two different distances apart, plus they are not centered. it's all cause the pipe runs right through there, so they had to sweep everything to one side to make room. i'll try and get some better pics taken and figure out how to load them propery.
