There are two bolts already sticking out of the bottom of the undertail. The kit includes two longer bolts that the bracket attatches to. You have to drill three small holes in the plastic to route the turn signals and plate light. You also have to cut the factory plugs off each light and splice them into the new lights. It's very easy and the instructions are farily detailed.

looks good. i used the two brothers tag plate and bent it to make it work so i could retain turns. mounted it to the rear peg brackets. love the looks of the exhaust airman.

Where can I get a bracket that tucks up under the tail like that? That looks really good.

the lic plate lights consist of two "light in bolts" mainly used on hot rods. they bolt into the two top plate holes. there really is no complicated way to describe a plate mount. the stock bolts coming out of the bottom of the bike were replaced with longer ones, i took my piece of metal, cut it, roll bent it and shaped it up a little, cut some holes in the back with a hole saw and a drill press, drilled my mounting holes and bolted it up. ill get some pics of the lights mounted up as soon as they come in.
