The Hotbodies kit melted on my bike. The pipe is VERY,VERY loud , like a drag racing pipe. Not worth the money for all the problems you have to go through. You'll feel like you wasted your money on something that is going to melt anyway.[:'(][:'(][sm=badidea.gif]

It looks sweet but i don't want to buy some thing that's going to melt. Wonder if they heat sheilded the pipes if it would still melt. Oh well I would go for the two bros set up.

It did look nice sweet...but the it sounded horrible!!! It was louder than a two stroke almost like a bike with no baffling.

The system actually melted the back of my bike (in the trunk). I could dent the hard plastic with my fingernail. The kit came with heat shield but it didnt help at all. I even tried wrapping the pipes but it was just getting too hot. Not only that in certain lighting the paint didn't match. I ended up returning it....hopefully I will get my money back!!!

I am thinking about getting an akrapolvic or two bros. pipe. Has anyone heard the two bros.? and if so how does it sound?

I will try to find pictures...I only had it on for two days before returning it.

I've been told that the two bro's exhaust for the 636's is nice looking and it sounds really good. It has a low rumber at lower rpms and it's pretty loud at higher rpm's which is cool in my book. That way the cager's know your coming and to look out for you.

I actually had to mount the license plate directly behind the pipes. You can mount it further back but my 05 636r is lowered because I am 5'3. If the bike was one notch lower I wouldn't have been able to mount the plate to the undersection of the bike. I would have been forced to mount it to the swingarm...and that would have sucked because I love corners!!!

Yeah the 2bros is IMO the best exhaust out there for the 05/06 636. I have the carbon and i love it, from the look to the sound.
