hahaha, I am sure the zzr or the 6r will have more umph compared to the katana. Insurance wise: There much of a difference between the two?

I don't know about the difference in the insurance premiums, my agent is going to call me tomorrow with the prices, but everything I hear is that the 6R is considered a racing bike and the premiums will be much higher than those of a ZZR--who knows, I will find out tomorrow and let you guys know. The more I think about it I am starting to lean towards the ZZR-sounds like a much more comfortable bike without sacrificing the power and several hundred dollars cheaper.

The ZZR is considered a sport bike, and the ZX6R is considered a super-sport. There is a difference in insurance pricing.

Sound like the ZZR would be your best choice. It's the best of both worlds. Remember, Scott Russell won the US championship on the old ZX6R which is the New ZZR600. Also Bostrom did too, so the ZZr is no slouch. In fact I thought about getting one before I found a deal on my 636 that I couldn't pass up. I highly recommend the ZZR.
