Default In need of a Speedometer

somehow I got a crack in the plastic lens for my speedometer on my 2005 zx6r.........anyone have a broken speedometer or a good one they would sell me cheap....or have any idea how i could cut some plexiglass to fit in there?

damn, just took it all apart to find that the lens is molded into the front cover...now if i can just find the cover

check on ebay, i have seen quite a few on there just the covers. other option is give me a week or two ill give you mine, my clear screen has put a melted spot on the top but the lens is still perfect

If you check the fiche I think the top face of a speedo is around $30, but I havent shopped for one in a while.

i went to bike bandit and cant even find the speedo on there...do u have a link for the cover

Wow Prom, the cheapest new cover that I have seen so far is $74.

thats just bloody freakin ridiculous...do people actually spend that kinda money on parts that they dont actually need.....I can live with the crack for that much money...where did you see it at for 74

Will the face be able to be replaced on the gauge? If the face is molded to the tach itself, how RDHJ change it? I've not seen one apart, so I don't have a clue. I'm just going by what I've read on here so far. SUP UNI said the top of the one they have has a melted spot, so the face will have to come of without breaking or cracking it before it can be used on RDHJ's bike. Just a thought.
