Default my own custom!!!!! 636

when it comes time, prolly next winter (when parts are available) i WILL be doing this! since i need to replace my tail section anyway since the bike got run over i will spend the little extra and mold a 08 zx10r tail to my 636,

i lookd at all bikes and finally decided on two possibilities the 10r was the final choice. here is a quick photoshop of what it should look like. i havent decided on the exhaust yet but ill think of something kick a**!!

ohh the other choice was a 600rr tail section

10r tail

hmm, looks wise? performance wise?
I prefer a linear look of a bike for looks. But I need to slightly stand up/slope the back to gain speed at 180. Maybe the stink bug look of the 08 solves this? Looks and performance. Maybe why the busa built it in.

with the 600rr tail will it retain the center mounted exhaust ? id say stick to all kawi parts but imo the 10r section makes the rear look like it was hit by a buss.

You're right about the performance, slope & Busa. I found that when I had my 15 lb backpack on that the bike went faster top-end. I guess it due to the aerodynamics because ther is a huge vacuum created behind the helmet & back of the rider at speeds. When I ride through a puddle or wet roadat 50 mph, the water gets thrown up and on top of my tail section & rear seat. I think that by having the backpack on, it smooths the airflow over me and the bike kinda like the aerodynamic humps built into race leathers. And yes, that is why the Busa looks the way it does.
