So I just bought a 2003 zx6r with 755 miles on it, I know awsome right? so I was just wondiering a few things like why there is a choke cable that doesn't work (A fake choke)?.. Where can I find an owners manual online for free? Any advice on maintance since the bike has so few miles on it and is an 03 it probably sat for a while..Thanks

Welcome to KF and review your service manual. Gear up and enjoy your new toy.

welcome, and those guys are right on on the idle.

as far as the "choke" im pretty sure that the 03-04 zx6r had a choke on the fi system that wasnt a true chocke but it would simulate it and dump more fuel into the system so the ecu didnt have to.

on the 05-06 they gave all the control to the ecu
