Howdy, been lurking the forum for awhile but couldn't resist posting on this topic...


Was headed to my G/F's house on an amazing riding day. Pull up to a red light one that I would hit every time I went to her house and I knew it was a long one. So I put it in neutral (not a regular habit for safefy reasons but I was a little lax that day) and just sat at the light enjoying the view next thing I know I swear my bike just stalled out on me from the lurch it just made whcih of course makes no sense to me at all lol a second later I realize the bike is still on so I look around the bike ( you know that stupid uhh what the hell look you do lol ) then to my dismay when I turn around I see a Honda Accords bumper wrapped around my rear tire! I had to wiggle the bike back and forth to break the bike free of his bumper. No damage to my bike what so ever but the moment I saw what really happened I couldn't stop laughing at this unbelieveable act of idiocy.

Glad to here you did not get smashed, it could have been much worse Maverick.

Did you ever check to see if it push the rear up a little, maybe making your chain loose. Oh and those honda bumbers aint cheep, what a tool. Hope you gave them the bird as you rolled off.

Old story that bike is nothing more than a memory so not to worried about that thanks though.

I couldn't even give them the bird I was still laughing uncontrollably it was just too damn funny. Been in a really bad accident once where someone ran a red light and it involved me flying head first into their F-150 then landing under it as the rear tire drove across my chest so I just laugh at the lesser attempts of murder that end like that first story. As for the F-150 thank God for gear that just can't be said enough.
