Exactly! I don't know how they don't 'see' us - when I'm in my car....I see bikes.

You can always tell what car drivers are also riders too. They're the ones that give you a half mile of following distance and flick off the other ***holes for you so you can ride with 2 hands.

My bike would make a really lousy looking hood ornament! You always gotta ride like they're out to kill you. My dad says that everytime I got out..........I think that is one lesson that'll stick!
Dam if it every hapened to me I would aim my body for the driver if I could.
Ha I can see it know headline reads; Fatality, motorcycle and car head on, rider in full gear goes through wind shield and kills wrong way driver. Cyclist is removed from wreckage and is listed in good shape. It appears that the driver suffered horribly for the 10 minutes it took emergency response teams to arrive. EMT tried in vane to revive drive but it was no use and really just not worht his time.
Cyclist is reportedly shopping online for a new bike from the comfort of his hospital room while receiving his second sponge bath form local candy stripers.

Luckily I haven't had too many incidents like that since I did the dual headlight mod. They seem to notice me more; I am more visible. Or it could be that my bike is RED and attracts the eyes better.

That reminds me of the day the car in front of me was tailgating the motorcycle in front of him. I was flashing my lights at the car!!! He finally backed off the bike!! What an a-hole!

That is one good thing about bright colored bikes! Unfortunately, mine doesn't stand out like that. Was out last night and some jerk behind me kept getting up a little too close for comfort. Had to tap my brake lights at him and move around a bit in my lane before he finally took the hint and backed off!

BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! That tickled my funny!

Especially since I was stopped at a light in a left hand turn lane some lady in an SUV decided to turn left... Apparently didn't see me, and was going to cut the corner short. I didn't have very many options except to lay on the horn and try to move right, but there wasn't much room before I'd hit the other cars on my right. She freaked, swerved, and made it back into her lane. What gets me is even though this was at night, I've got some of the biggest & brightest lights on my bike... She just wasn't paying attention. [sm=bs.gif]

Needless to say, I hug the inside of the lane at those intersections now... just out enough from the side to get on the ground loop.
