Well due to the fact that I never had an undertail I decided it was about time to light up the plate to avoid getting hassled by the "fuzz'.. Picked up a sack of 30 led bulbs/resistors off Ebay for $20 and thought that they would look nifty.

Here is the result of 2 LED bulbs mounted to the tailsection.. These badboyz are crazy bright...

that sure is bright! nice and clean lookin back there now, not like mine would you mind posting pics of your setup and how you mounted them. i've always thought LED's were cool but have NO idea on how to build a board to mount them. anything to not get wheeled by 5-0

 

They are a little ghetto. I just adhered themm directly to the rear fairing.. They are flexible and were easy to work with.. I am going to re-do them when I make the tail a 1 peice.. You can't see the bulbs unless you get down on your hands and knees..

if you would have used 3 leds you wouldnt have needed resistors. just fyi for next time. looks damn good though props

Looks good. I went the lazy route and just used led light bolts for the license plate frame.
