Muzzy Slip-on First Impression

RE: Muzzy Slip-on First Impression
and if I can recall right, OMRRA limits were 102db, with the Muzzy aluminum can right at 98-100db's. I don't know how long that exhaust had been run though. I know, kinda vague info. Sounded good though. I went with the carbon fiber can and Ti Muzzy system. Mind you, this was for a '90 ZX-7 H2. I personnally have not tried the aluminum can.

RE: Muzzy Slip-on First Impression
Sunday was my first day actually riding my bike with the Muzzy pipe. The pipe has actually gotten quieter. I am liking it more and more. I had a chance to compare my Muzzy on my ZX6R to my buddy's carbon Yoshi on his 2005 Honda 600RR. They are very close in decibals. I was extremely shocked!!! We started his, listened to it, revved it, then shut it off. We walked 10 feet over to mine and did the same...VERY close! The Yoshi is a little deeper but not much.
I will admit that I was a little disappointed in my Muzzy at first but as it "breaks in" it gets better. I give the Muzzy a thumbs up!!!
