Default Lower fairing paint

Does anybody else wish Kawi didnt cheap out on the 05 ZX6Rs lower farings? I want to paint it but am having trouble finding paint. I have the "plasma red" 636 and its got a lot of gold flake in it. Anyway just wondering if anybody else wanted to paint theirs as well

ColorRite carries all the stock Kawi colors. Brought a can of their Raw Plasma Blue for my 06 and it mataches perfect. Good luck with the lower faring. I like it black.

I'm thinking of getting the lowers painted as well...it depends on what we do for a paint job...i was told it would cost around 200$$$ for a matching paint job...

I gotta get my 05 front fender to match my 03 red and it'll cost me $75. A can of paint is $33.75 each and I need the base coat also. I guess if I get the cans, I'll have extra for touch-ups later or if I get other parts I want to paint.

Are the lowers the same material as the uppers? I had thought that I read/heard somthing about paint not wanting to stick to the lowers. I could be way off. I would like to have them painted when the rest of it gets painted but don't want to have chips all over teh belly in a year or so...
