Hey I got a Yoshi RS-5 Slip on. It's loud and i paid like $370

 

Guys I am a new subscriber but here is my input. I bought my 636 about 2 months ago and for I my past bikes were an 01 NINJA 6R and then I went to an R6 and I used Yoshi on them. When I bought my 636 I was dead set on Hindle so I indulged. Had some problems with the ordering they claimed to have a slip on however turns out they do not. They sent the can that doesnt fit the mid pipe, so we called them back and they said they would send the mid pipe out but there mid pipe would not fit the Kawi header. So needless to say thorugh all the headache I ended up dropping about 1200 bucks in this freakin HINDLE exhaust. Like I said Ive always had Yoshi but I ma very pleased with the HINDLE. My dad says that when I leave his house where I keep the bike here can hear me further away then the past bikes.
Other downfalls is I had to install a tailight integrator and remount my license plate, also the number 3 head pipe was rubbing my radiator causing a minor leak and a slight smell, but with some washers on the radiator mount to the motor that problem was fixed now I have discovered a minor melt in the fairing where the headers go from 4-2-1. So I need to come up with a fix on that but I am really impressed with the sound. Stronger tone like the Ypshi and not to rappy like the D&D. I really like. I will try to get some pics. if anyone would like to see.

Tex, I didn't realize that even the 49 state 05-06 636's had CAT's. Did you FI light come on after gutting the CAT?

 

i have the muzzy slip on and its louder than my friends yoshi slip on on his 636

 

i have the sato too! its very lound! sound great too.

 

if your wanting one just to be loud, try the www.bozbros.com they have a sound clip on www.kawiforums.com and on a zx10, that bitch sounds bad ***!!!!!!!! im getting a zx14 in a week or so when i get my insurance money, and thats what im putting on it! $750.00 for a full system

I'd vote for the Hindle as well. My husband had one on his ZX9 and it was freaking awesome. I could hear him coming and going for miles. It saved our a$$ a few times too since the people weren't paying attention - but they heard him when he rev'd it a bit.

Eventually he will get another for the ZX10 - they are just really nice sounding.

I want an Arata but I don't have $1500 to spend.

 

I get lots of compliments on my Arata half systems. I paid roughly $600 and change almost a year ago. It gives a good roar, but more importantly increased performance when dyno'd. I went from stock 106 at the wheel to 115hp.
