Do I have to get a full exhaust, (headers and all) to get that real raspy, racer tone?

Or is there a slip-on that can give me what I'm looking for; a sound that is loud and unsettling, a sound that will put the scare into the neighborhood kids, a sound that will make old ladies crap their pants. [sm=devilgrin.gif]

 

you can get that with a slip-on if you dont have the $$$$$..... DandD, Devil, Yosh, Two Brothers, Remus, all make nice loud pipes....

 

2bros is loud but not as loud as i think u want. Thats what i have. I think d&d is supposed to be about the loudest, but im not sure.

 

I know exhaust questions are asked so redundant here, and i didnt want to start a whole new thread, but i have an 03 i cant decide on two bros. or yoshi TRS.. any thoughts or ideas... and BTW i heard a D&D on a 04 636, and an Arrow slip on, both were quite loud. i dont know much about arrow tho....

I have a Sato slip on exhaust I guarantee you will be happy with. It's as loud as I've ever had on any race bike I've owned and meets the requirements you described above.

 

I tried to do a search for SATO and couldn't find a company that had an application for the 05/06. Where did you purchase yours?

He doesn't list everything he carries on his web site because of all the changes in inventory but if you call and talk to Dan or Alex they are very good at helping you out. I've worked for Dan in the past and his customer service reputation is extremely well known on many forums. Sato is expensive, but you will not find a product of better quality and customer support.
