Default K&N air filter

hey guy's i have a friend who just piced up a 03 zx 6r, with just a muzzy slipon and pc111, do u think it's even worth gettin 1 for his bike and do u think he will add some extra power from it, also have anybody did the air box mod, it's where u take the divertor out of the air box in the middle that seperates the air flow

he's wantin get more air inside the motor so he can pic up a few extra hp, also what do you'll think about the bmc race filter over the k&n, i heard the bmc flows more air but u have to clean it more often than the k&n, any info will be appreciated

Dont know about the BMC, my brother has one...I'll ask him about it tomorrow. I like my K&N though.

What did the removal of the secondary butterflies do for you; any difference in power? You can put in some race cams, race ECU, an ignition module or timing advance rotorfor more power.

Don't know about your bike, but they are pretty cheap for mine, it seems to be a pretty cheap upgrade.
