Default installation of sliders

For christmas my bother got me frame sliders and spools for the swing arm. the problem is the guy sold him ones listed for a 03 04 zx 6r and I have an 05. He told my brother that they would work. Granted this is from the local suzuki dealer. the rear spools went on fine. but I am having trouble with the fram sliders. I am unsure where they go. should they fit both models and if so do they go through the engine mounts. any info would help

If I am not mistaken the 05 Frame sliders you will need to cut into the plastic to mount them on the one side. I take it there are no instructions that came with the Frame Sliders?

I could not tell you what kind they are because as soon as i got them i opened them. i knew i would have to cut the plastic so i put the spools on and once they fit i assumed the slider would fit so i have no package. and there were no istructions

That's cool. Use your ingenuity, and mechanical skills. Hold up the slider to each side for the diameter of bolt being used. And grasp a pic in your mind where they belong and if any cutting is necessary.

each side for the diameter of bolt being used
meaning if it is an 8mm bolt, hold it centered on another 8mm bolt that would match (general location of course) then go from there.

All I can tell you is that the curb side mount is shorter then the other side. They should mount up to the upper engine mount. You will have to cut the little lip off the left fairing. First pic is the throttle side and the second pic is clutch side.
