Default iintegrated tail lights question.

So i bought some smoke tail lights with integrated turn signals, and i cuz the old wires off the old turn signals and spliced to the new tail lights. Well driving around at night i had my gf follow me from behind and she noticed that my tail lights don't stay on, they only come on when i squeeze the brake handles. Did i wire something wrong? I thought by just plugging in that main connector to the actual tail lights it would be like the regular ones

sounds like you wired it wrong. only know this because before i permantly wired mine i was messing with the wires and got the brake light to come on as the running light and so forth. also, make sure your plug is all the way in.

I've heard alot of people accidently bend the prongs when forcing the plug in. So make sure it is all the way in but don't bend anything. It sounds stupid but many people have done this.

^That is what was wrong with mine, mine was the brake light prong. Also if you have aftermarket fron blinkers you may need to install the little white resistors that came with the tail light. Hope you get it working.

thta little white resistor sux it get really hot and is kinda dangerous, i put in an aftermarket blinker relay from autozone and it doesn't have the blink fast problem, and if its not the prong you shoud test your wires with a 12v tester also from autozone and you can use it to trace back the problem by checking all the wires

would the turn signals even make a difference when it comes to the tail light though? I figure it had it should provide it's own power. But i'll check the prongs and make sure the connector is in right

After I put my CA fronts in (clear lenses, chrome bulb) it has enough resistance to slowmy signalsdown to a desirable speed.

Did nt have any probloms with my rear as far as wiring.
