Default I need help installing sliders

I just got some sliders for my 06 ZX-6R and need some help. The instructions if that is what you call them are completely worthless other than for moon floss. I do not really want to start hacking up my plastics hoping to put the hole in the right spot. So I guess what I am asking is are there any better instructions or diagrams I can get or you can send me so I don't contemplate taking to dealer and paying more in time than the sliders cost. Also what is the best way to cut the holes?

what sliders did you get.....i got the vortec ones and the best way to cut the whole is to take a dremel tool and just take your time cutting out the hole......just cut a little bit then see how the fitment is then cut some more till the slider fits just right....give me a few min and ill get some pics of the whole where my slider is for a reference

They are shogun sliders and the instructions just say use a hole saw and nothing more. They are really generic.

shoguns are easy to install. remove the fairing. put in the bolt and spacer. the spacer is exactly the same size as the slider. put the fairing back on tape up the plastic with masking tape. use dremel and cut out around the area of the spacer. then use a grinder and smooth it out. slowing grind away the plastic until the slider will fit onto the spacer.

critical....i would throw those in the trash now and buy the cut type. They are going to cause more damage in the long run

I got them on yesterday. I kinda messed up as I did not put enough tape to protect so when I slipped with the sanding bit it went through the one level of tape and scratched the fairing. I called my stealership and they want 20 bucks for a little tube of touch up paint. I need to clean up the hole a little better but it looks pretty dang good. Thanks for all of yall's help.
