Default I have a 98 zx6r....looking to get a little more speed

I currently have a yoshi slip on pipe. I already have a K&N filter ordered. Now my question is, should i go stage 1 or stage 2 jet kit? Because i dont want to run too lean with the yoshi and k&n.

Also, i seem to have another problem, whenever i ride for awhile and shut off my bike. A couple mins later when i try to start it back up, it seems to have some trouble starting. Could this be a bad spark plug?

Could be vapor-locking. Try to fully open & closethe throttle before you try starting it. It could be running lean. I think a stage 2 kit has a K&N air filter but I could be mistaken. Go with the stage 2 if you want more speed.
