The hover wheels and flame kit are a close second.

I use K&N in both of my bikes and my truck, others will say that BM is better but from my understanding they are manufactured by the same company. It's all personal preference. There seems to be tons of studies on both and imo either one would be fine.

I was going to put a BMC on my bike until I found out it was going to be $90 or so. My hubby ended up buying both of us K&N's so I'm not 100% sure of the cost, but I think it was still around $40. I have no idea though. I can tell a different in the way the bike runs, so did he.

I agree with NS. I've seen both and they look the same. Cloth gauze sandwiched between wire mesh. They flow a lot more than stock paper element filters. Someone was saying that the K&N's didn't flow as good as stock, but I saw a little display at an Auto parts counter where you could compare a paper element with the K&N. The K&N flowed more than twice as much however, it doesn't filter as well due to the higher flow of the gauze. If you live in very dusty or sandy areas, I'd recommend stock filters. You'll just have to change them more often. Or if you run K&N's, change the oil more often too.
