Well I ride the KLX 250 and insurance isn't required for motorcycles in Washington State, but I decided that for $80.00 a year for me and the wife and two bikes, wasn't too bad. Yea that's for $25,000/$50,000/$300,000 liability. I really can't see paying $1000.00 for full coverage. not on a $5,000 bike anyway. Now I'm not saying that full coverage is a waste of money, each person has to decide for themselves. Good luck.

I was quoted around 700-1000 a month after my dui for full coverage. wow Thats buying a brand new bike every year. So i had to get liability only, and that was 50 a month. I'm just a few months away from geting my dui expunged though and my rates will soon drop.
