This transformation solve that problem for me. I sit a little more up-right, not so hunched, and gets the weight off my wrists. I absolute love it!!!!

weird...I think the 05 636 is the most comfortable bike I have been on especially compared to the Honda...I can ride for about 17 hours with no problem... ...have you had another rider check your riding position??? using your legs and back to keep the pressure off of your arms and wrists??? Do you have stock rear sets??? Taller than 6'5" you may want adjustable rear sets...

I would agree on riding position, there are a number of things you can do to get more comfortable, think about whats bothering you and think of ways to reduce it. One thing I do on distance rides is to sit more upright, the wind hitting my chest helps hold me up and takes some of the weight off the arms. Remember the arms should be used primarily for control, not support. As for the butt, try to get comfy, Kawi seats are narrow in the front, try scooting back a bit when your cruising. The seat is wider in the back and gives more support, however you do have to lean forward more so it is a tradeoff. Let us know how it goes.
