RE: hot frame
Relatively on the same topic, does anyone know what the trigger temp is on the thermostat for an '06 636? My guess is 215°. From my familiarity with cars, that sounds like an emissions number, not a performance number (hotter engines produce better emissions). Has anyone experimented with a cooler thermostat?

What do you mean by trigger temp? NS, you're sick.

What I would like to know is if the same theory can be applied to my '06 636, allowing it to run cooler in traffic, and possibly improving performance. Thanks.

RE: hot frame
I am going to be buying my first bike in a week or so, and will have to ride it for 6 hours to get it back to my area. (i am in L.A., and the bike is in Milpitas), i'll be sure to watch out for the HOT frame!
