No way would that be in good shape for 3k... It would take an easy 2000 to get it to my "good shape" standards. I know that's not the point of this thread,but just saying.

 

I think its a good buy if the engine and tranny is good. Its a good project bike. It will be a good stunt bike.You should have it looking good within a couple of weeks. Checkout Ebay for fairings and parts. Dont forget the 12-pack for those long hours of hard work . Show us some after pictures. Good luck.

 

going to get it now!!! im gonna fix er up. i got a set of plastics cheap too... super cheap! they dont really need too much work, but i have the hook up with paint so itll be cheap. if ya look at it, its a cheap fix. just really needs an upper, maybe a fairing stay and sides.. a tail too. so pertty much everything. i have the gauge cluster and mirrors. but hey, id say i got a hell of a deal. polished everything. only 6k miles. put $1k into it all together and im set. dont worry, ill get some pics up when shes done. progress pics too

 

Welcome & congrats on your steal/ deal! I love the 03-04; have one myself. What color you gonna make it? Full fairing or streetfighter look?

just got it home. runs like a champ, i already started fixing a bunch of stuff on her. i love it already!!

 

Does the sub frame look abit tweaked? Must be my eyes then.
