Well, I made a lil mistake and ended up on the ground....next to my bike. So as u can see the upper fairing has a nice chunk missing as well as some road rash on the right fairing, clutch cover and exhaust main pipe. I am so pissed....bike was almost mint when I got it. Just dont feel like spending $380/fairing to fix it now. Will probably try some fiberglass fix on the upper and then touch up paint on the right fairing for now. Know of a way to touch up the clutch cover??

 

Smooth it with sandpaper or a scotchbrite disc with a rotary grinder and paint to match.

 

You wouldnt happen to know the best place to buy the factory match paint do ya?

 

Try this place http://www.color-rite.com/ . It's a little pricey or see if there's a Colorworks close to you.

 

Go to a auto or motorcycle paint store/ shop and have them paint or match it. If you buy paint, it may not be the exact color due to fading and age. I was quoted $75 to paint my 05 front fender. The paint would have cost me just as much from color-rite with no guarantees of the exact color. They only get you the stock factory color when the bike is new.
