Default Help Please!!!!!

I have a 2001 ZX-6R. I was riding today and the bike started cutting out on my like it wasnt getting fuel. It would cut out for a second or two and then come back. It was kind of nerve racking because it would just jump back to the spot where i had the throttle at (almost sending me into a wheelie, which I am not very comfortable with, seeing as I have only been riding a for a short time.) Anyways I came home and pulled the tank and noticed a hose running from the back of my tank was not connected to anything. ( I checked all the other hoses and saw where they were attatched.) So I was wondering if there is a diagram I can look at to find the fuel line routes or can anyone tell me where that line should run to? I know it is bad to have a bike and not know a whole lot about them, but I love them and cant get enough of riding. Yes I am a rookie, but hey I got to start somewhere. Please someone help!!!!! If you dont think the fuel line is the problem please give suggestions and tell me whats going on. Clueless in Oklahoma!!!!!!

It was coming off the tank. It wasnt under the tank. It came out from under the seat. It ran back under the tank and then it was just dangling there.

Sound like you have water in your fuel. Drain the float bowls and you can add some heet to the tank to get rid of the water. The line on the back of the tank is a breather or an overflow from the Gas cap.

I have very little input on things but I will try to help if I can. I will probably be asking for more help than I give. I am glad to see there are still people out there willing to help. Where does the other end of the breather line go? Is it hanging toward the bottom of the bike? If so, it should hook up to the vent line from the tank or the fuel uverflow drain.
