I have never notice this bike to be heavier to the right or left. It is very top heavy and its because how the gas tank is layed out. I notice when the tank is full the bike wants to fall like a V-Twin but you want that and you just have to get use to it. My 03-04 CBR600RR race bike on the other hand feels very very very heavy compaired to the zx-6r. And I also have touse my lags alot more to turn the honda in than the kawasaki. But I like the feel of the Kawi alot more than the honda.

Do you have a warrantee from whatever stealership you bought it from? If so just make them fix it. You could also bend over and take it up the @$$ and have them test drive it and diagnosis it... [sm=chairshot.gif]

As mentioned above, check the adjusters, but also check front and rear tire trueness. The legs could have easily twisted a little which would also cause a steering issue.

sorry DragoneI hit the edit button at first not the quote

i had someone tell me that its easier to make turns to the left because of the axis of the earth and that it had nothing to do with one side of the bike being heavier because i always wondered the same thing they say they asked a few scientist and that is the answer they gave them pretty reliable source so it could be true....

RH turns are ackward because of the angle of your wrist to the RH throttle grip & brake. It's more difficult to control it while you're leaned over and/ or dragging your knee. In the LH lean, your RH is at a more natural position for control.

The bike should feel the same whether making LH or RH turns; shouldn't feel heavier one side or the other. If it does, your wheel alighnment is off.

it does sound like the wheels are off center/alignment - combined wth the somewhat top heavy nature of the 636 it could make it feel pretty bad.
