Hey all well i finally got my info back from the shop and this is what was said to be true about my bike.So far this is what he wrote down : Muzzy full exhaust system, Factory Stage 1 jet kit, K&N air Filter, Vance & Hines ignition advancer, a 14 tooth front sprocket from Sprocket Specialists and overborded heads, something to that effect. He told me when he repacked my exhaust that i would have to get re jetted now is that a fact or is he tryin to get some money. And one more question he said my rotors needed replaced so i gave the go ahead but he charged me like 180 per rotor does that sound right to you all. And tires whats a good set of tires to throw on. Right now i got a 180/17 on back and a 120/17 on front.

Those prices seem reasonable. I checked www.denniskirk.com and rotors run from $130 up to $250 each and there were some for $189 listed. Also, yes the bike will need to be re-jetted slighty after the muffler is re-packed. What happens here is the packing makes the muffler more restrictive and slows the air escaping the motor. When the air leaves the motor slower, the same happens to the air entering the motor. Regardless how fast or slow the air is traveling roughly the same amount of gas is introduced to the mixture by the jets in the carbs (hence the term jetting) If the air is slowed down too much gas will be present resulting in a rich condition. If the air speeds up too much, not enough gas is there, making a lean mixture. Re-jetting is done to adjust how much gas is present in the mixture to correct for lean or rich conditions. I'd say all aftermarket motor mods will result in a lean condition if you do not re-jet as well. Since you have an aftermarket pipe and then that pipe was modified, the bike was jetted to run with alot of air flow, if you plug up that pipe with packing, it will need to be jetted to correct for this (unless you want to backfire alot, but that would be a really rich mixture)
Oh also, the term he probably used was over-bored. Meaning the cylinders were bored out to make them larger, so larger pistons could be used, thus making a small increase in HP.

Hey all of that work that the stealership is quoting you can be done easily by yourself. Even the jetting, though it is the most difficult on your list.
I say save the dollars from the dealer to buy the tools you may need and do it yourself. JMO.
