Well as the title states I am looking at purchasing a new 06 zx-6r and have never had purchased a new car/bike before I don't know what prices I should be looking at. I went to the local kawi dealership by me and the guy well seemed to be your typical sales person(I know them well my fiance sells cars), I will continue to keep shopping but I have seen only one black 05-06 zx6r before and it was the one at the dealership I was at and I must say it was ****ing sexy. So let's here them what did you get your new bike for.

Got mine in indiana for $6999. (plus tax of course) Most places will add freight and setup, but those together should not be over $400.

Work on the price plus frieght and setup. Tax and title fees will differ by state or even within the same state. By the way... I haven;t found any cheaper than $6999. They still had a black one in the crate where I got mine..... I went for the green.

 

$8799 otd in san diego about 5 months ago. they are still going for that here. good luck man. u will love it when u get it.
if you arent paying cash, try to score a low interest loan from either your credit union or capitol one. i got 8% from them for 5 years and they gave me a blank check to shop with. eliminates the stealership shuffle.

 

Thanks for the replies guys, I am set on getting a 636 as I have loved the bike since 03 when two buddies of mine came out however I do want to get the best deal on it. Well see what happens with this place, although I have two other dealerships to stop at today to see what they will say.

 

Dont pay a dime over MSRP for the bike a good dealer will get is for you for less. especially if you're going for last years model. stealaerships will try to hit ya with all kinds of extra charges just tell them to go shove it. lol

 

Since the '07's are getting ready to come out you should be able to walk out the door with everything including a 5 year warranty for no more then $8000. Hell there is a place aroud the way from me that are selling 06 CBR1000 for $8700.

 

I got my 05 Ninja for $6,000 from my moms friend w/ 500 miles on it.

 

The California Superbike School is selling all of their 05 & 06 ZX6R's to gear up for the new 07's. If anyones interested, call or email them. I'll post a link when i get back from Richmond, Cali on Friday night.

 

wow i hope they're at bargain basement prices i can only imagine how much abuse those bikes are put through in a year lol
