Default Gas tank help please

Ok i am reparing my stepdads ninja we just got back after it was stollen from us a few months ago they stole it with out a battery. stupid.

ok anyway im new to this forum but the gastank has three tubes are coming of the tank 1 fuel 1 reserve and 1 unknown. i think the unknow is a breather but i have no idea where it hooks up to.

there is a screw in it because other wise itpoos out

do you know where it would hook up or what to do so it doesnt poor out.

with the screw in it and while running it comes out the toip of the tank if you do not open the fuel door

if its a fuel injected bike, ones a feed, ones a return and ones a vent/overflow

i would put money on it being the overflow/vent, just leave it dangling if that is the case, shouldent have a screw in it though lol

I if it dangles the tank will empty overnight we thinkthat we need to place it higher than the tank
