Yea thats a good buy. for some reason i like the 03 636's the best. not sure why i think the frame is a little different.

h3 and z4? dam! ballin!!!
03 and 04 636Frames are the same. The 04 got some tweaks to the engine (Bigger valves I think) & the 04 RR frame is Black. The 05 and 06 636 are the same and came stock with the 03-04 Race KitCams & slipper Clutch. The motor was tweaked for more power also.

I'm not sure what I get. . . . probably close to 35 city- But i am HEAVY on the throttle and rev high . . . I'm sure it could be closer to 45 if I drove - like "I didn't steal it"

05 636 -- fuel injected is awesome! No stuttering because the bike is too cold- I still let it warm up- but not nearly as long or sensitive as my old 02 R6

Ps- i'm tipping the scales at 180 . . . . [:@] I need to hit the gym I should be around 165! hahaha something happened over the winter But that's a different thread.

I GOT AN 05ZZR600(THE SAME AS AN 00-02 ZX6R)AND GET 40MPG GIVE OR TAKE. IF I SHIFT AT HIGHER RPMS IT DROPS BELOW 40 BUT NOT TOO MUCH.

you gas hogs! lol

minimum fuel mileage of the 250R is 65MPG.[8D] The only trade-off is that I'm twice as slow as you 636 riders.

if your going to get a 03-04 get a steering damper right away. they are the slap happiest of the bunch so get a good damper. The only dampers i use are GPR's they dont keep on slapping, once it starts it stops on the next swing. well happy shopping

i have a bit of a problem with my '04 ZX-6R... when the bike is running, there is a pretty nasty gasoline smell coming from the pipe. I'm guessing the bike is running too rich. My buddy was even riding behind me and said he saw a flame come out of my pipe quickly (only happened once to our knowledge). I'm thinking the fuel injectors might need a cleanin', any other thoughts?

Run some RXP (Autozone or Car Parts store) in your tank. Is your bike stock? Is the air filter clean? How many miles does it have?
