Plus you can go longer between oil changes and you get more protection if the bike ever overheats. The synthetic oil will save the motor better that regular oils. My wife was driving one of our cars and it had a waterpump leak all the water out. The engine overheated and just quit running making all kinds of noise and she drove it till it died; (Most Women). After I chaged the water pump, it fired right up and ran like a champ. If it was regular oil, I'd be changing an engine.

Synthetic is definitely worth the extra cost anyday.

I changed mine over when i had 600 miles on it. I used moble one and respol racing oil. I like the respol oil better my bike seems to act better with the oil in it. I think all and all it cost me like $50 dollars to change my oil this time.
