cool, I like my syn 10/40 also. Flush the system and reinstall synthetic after a warm up/ride.

Once I changed to full synthetic, I also noticed that the ticking noise was much quieter too!

It's amazing the difference after you switch isn't it? Was at a shop picking up a oil filter close to my house for my bike. Guy asked me if I wanted to get some oil too. I asked if he has an Full syn he's reply was something along the lines of "No, that's stuff isn't any difference wouldn't use it unless you like over paying for oil." I was already walking away from him when he asked since I know they didn't carry it so I just laughed and mentioned that clearly he'd never tried it. Amazing the people you find that work at shops. Can't believe how little they actually know.

I noticed there was a signifcantdifference in powerwhen I switched to Full Synthetic in an 89 Ford Escort. Imagine in a Hi-Performance machine.I run full synthetic in everything I own including my lawnmower.

How much more expensive is synthetic compared to normal motorcycle oil? I've always just had the dealership do the oil changes and never thought about synthetic. I used to use it in my 91 Talon turbo when I raced it and it made a difference. I'll have to try the synthetic oil... [8D]

full syn oil at cycle gear is about 8-12$ a quart. with normal oil being about 5$. the extra money is worth it.
