fuel light

Default fuel light

just installed a dg8 gear indicator to my b1h. now since i had to remove the speedo the fuel light flashs. anybody any ideas

oh well now i understand.... when you install the unit did you disconnect the battery?.... if not check your fuses and try to disconnect your battery and then reconnect it after 30 seconds... you might need to reset something.... but if that doesn't work then you might have tapped the wrong wire..... recheck your connections.... good luck.... and welcome to the forum.... post some pics when you have the chance.....

thanks mate will try it. can you tell me where the fuses are not been around the bike much.

well i don't now what year your bike is...... but it might be under the rear seat or on either side of the fairing....

Hey Matt,
Tell me how you like your DiGi, when you get it hooked up. I have had mine for about 2 months now and still can't get the program right. As far as the fuses, I have no idea where they are either. I remember someone posting some schamatics of the 05-06 636 in another post, try doing a search.

on the 05-06 636 the fuse box is under the rear seat....

checked fuses and disconnected battery and still no joy. its a 03 reg. the light should just come on thats my understanding. does it ever flash if its really low at all

well it shouldn't be much different then the 05 636... the light should just a steady "ON" when your low on gas..... hey ratkiller, what type and year is your bike?
