Default Front Brake Line question

I need a longer front brake line due to my streetfighter conversion. So I've been looking around at different configurations and noticed our bikes (mine, 05 636) come stock with a double banjo bolt coming from master cylinder. So my questions is would it be benifical to run 2 lines straight from the master cylinder, one going to each the right and left side?

are your lines stock ? i know on mine, its a single off the master and a double banjo into the break side caliper and the cross over. you can run a double at the master and one line into each caliper, thats how i did my zx7

2 single lines are better and much easier to bleed/ get the air out/ less trapped air at the top of the crossover line.

For now, yes they are stock. But if you look close, you will notice double banjo bolt (coming from the caliper) is the same length as the one coming from the master cylinder. They just put a really tall banjo fitting to cover the other hole.

Take a look here.

Anybody have a link to a DIY Write Up on how to install and bleed these?

get a vacuum pump, it makes the job way easier. bleed the master first, then the front break side line then the clutch side line.

I feel the 2 single lines are better just because they are easier to bleed. Some people say the they supply equal pressure but it's a hydraulic system so the pressure is equal throughout the system anyway. All racebikes use 2 single lines going from the master cylinder directly to each caliper. I think all the aftermarket stainless or carbon braided lines only come that way.
