frame sliders really work!!!!*pics added*
ill tell you the truth even though i have read numerous posts and reviews about frame sliders doing thier job i never really believed it, especially 05-06 zx6r no cut ones, i figured the instant it touched the ground it would snap that no cut bracket or bent it or something. well the other day, saturday, i was leaving work and seriously underestimated how cold it had gotten while i was in the office (15 degres i found out later). i go out warm up the bike and the leave. first turn i took, the wheels and ground were cold enough to not have traction at all, so out went the rear wheel and down went the bike. now i dont know about anyone else on here but my first instincts tell me when ever something goes wrong ont he bike like this to just get off it, i dont want a 400lb hunk of metal and gas sliding on the pavement with me still attatched. so that is what i did as soon and the back wheel went out i was off the bike, it slid for a good 50 ft or so and im laying there thinking damnit my wife is going to kill me lol. i go and pick up the bike, which was still on (i thought these had a tilt sensor in them), and get ready to asses the damage when to my suprise there was none, on the plastic atleast. all that little spill did me was a bent clutch lever, bronken mirror(of corse), and a scratched stator cover. well seeing how my plan was to get new levers and powder coat my stator cover this winter, all im really set back is 15 bucks for a new mirror of ebay. i couldent even imaginge what the hungry pavement would have done when it got to my plastics without the frameslider, love those things!!!!!!

I am glad to hear you and your bike are ok. What kind of frame sliders do you have? 'Cause I hate cutting plastic, and woud rather not if I don't have to. Although Christmass is comming, I might beg for a crash cage.
