Most come with the instructions for install , they make two types .One you have to cut ( trim ) your fairing to get them to work and the others ( which I would not recommend ) are called no cuts . Based on everything I have read about the ' no cuts ' they are not as steardy and will not hold up in the event the bike goes down .You'll use the two motor mount bolts on each side of the bike to mount them regardless of whether you use ' no cuts ' or cut style .Hope this helps .

www.motovationusa.com These are what I have on mine , I can try to explain to you intense_05_636 but I would recommend doing a GOOGLE search for frame sliders .It will give you many sites to visit and kindof sort thru what is available .Shogun makes some nice sliders so does Vortex .........Several people on the site have Vortex brand , I hear the Woodcrafters are top notch sliders .Try and stay with a Delrin material for your sliders .

www.1tail.com www.indysuperbikes.com check out these sites
As far as the cutting you'll have to trim out a section of fairing about the size of a silver dollar , if you do this use a dremel with a diamond cutting wheel and trim it slow and easy to keep it neat .
Hope this helps

+1 on Delrin!
no need for bling! lol
bike is bling enough.
One thing about the vortex...which i have(front and swingarm). i live on the beach. my bolts are starting to rust which could lead to siezing when i try to replace the delrin bushing. i totally like those woodcrafts. looks like the woodcraft bolt heads would hold up better to the rust.

oh! vortex has already saved my plastics 2 times. granted it was only a falldown in the alley...but still. that stuff happens and the only thing that got scratched was the $20 delrin slider. worth every freakin penny.

sorry..one more post lol.
buy a dremel tool and install the non-offset ones. they look way better on the bike. i know i am going to catch hell for this...but it is only my opinion. there are those that may argue the strength of the offset ones. just do some reading and decide for yourself. dont fear the plastic cutting. do a search on here. there is a really good thread on the "how to" on dremelling the plastics.

Woodcraft sliders are great. That is what I have on all my bikes. Went down with some cheaper ones before and they don't work nearly as well.

I was putzing around the zx14 or zx12 forums and they were having this same discusion. Someone put in this link http://www.powersstuntworx.com/railz.htmlIt's for a "race rail." They're a little pricey but they look like they would protect A LOT better than just a regular slider. I plan on getting them when I save up a little money.

Heres a pic of them on a Kawi in case you don't wanna look at the 50 other pics
