Jumped in ona club ride and rode the 17 (to the mystery spot) on Saturday. It was allright, good guys, just not so much my style of riding.Then after missing a bicycle ride Sunday morning, decided to go up to 4 corners outta Saratoga just to see whassup. Waaaaay more my style. Gotta feeling I'll be up there a lot. Made me go home and do more unpacking - had to find the leathers!

Can't ride this weekend (be in mammoth crashing mountain bikes). Definitely be riding the next weekend.

 

Now your seeing the joy that is northern CA. hwy 9 is nice just becarefull up there. Theres a lot of accidents on that road. Other then that from what I have heard its an awsome road.

 

Oh the roads off of calavares in the hills are nice roads also.

 

not right now there paving calaveras canyon right now. it's all loose gravel

no problem. i rode home that way a couple of week ago, i thought maybe the gravel would clear up further down the rode. but it did'nt.i had a buddie to meet at the end of the road so i kept mushing on, got to the end of the road and the next road was shut down by CHP. so i went down the road for nothing.[:@]i got home and looked at my bike and found an inch layer of gravel in the bottom of my fairing[:@]and because they lay oil down first it was stuck to everything[:@]i spent three hours the next day cleaning rock out of my bike[:@]

 

Dang that sucks

 

There's a bike night tonight (wed) in Sunnyvale. It's at Kal's BBQ @ 6:30 - 9. I'm gonna check it out.

Every now and then I go to the meet in san francisco. The meet they have there is pretty nice.
